In addition to the general entry requirements into the University, candidates seeking admission into first degree programmes must fulfil one of the following requirements:
Entry through University Matriculation Examination (4-year programme):
Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O level) or equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Literature in English obtained in not more than two sittings.
Direct Entry (3-year programme):
(i) GCE A Level or equivalent with a minimum of credit passes in three (3) subjects including Literature in English and English Language, in addition to the minimum O’ Level requirements.
(ii) NCE with credit passes in two major subjects including Literature in English in addition to the minimum O’ Level requirements.
