Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
FACULTY OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES IN BRIEF
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the 2007/2008 session and during that session the Faculty opened its gates and admitted the first batch of 24 students for undergraduate Pharmacy programme.
At foundation, the Faculty was composed of five composite academic Departments located at a temporary site before it was subsequently moved, in June 2010, to the purpose-built facility at the Usmanu Danfodiyo Teaching Hospital complex.
The Faculty runs a five-year Bachelor of Pharmacy programme and has thus far inducted 168 graduands. The faculty has initiated the processes of transiting to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) programme in line with the National Universities Commission and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) guidelines.

To create an affable environment capable of generating erudite and well trained professionals with the required skills, knowledge and motivation to provide the much needed connoisseur pharmaceutical services.
Our Mission
To produce competent pharmacists who are highly skilled in all areas of pharmacy practice.
