DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY PHARMACOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY IN BRIEF
The department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology was an off shoot of an older department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology which was splited into two in 2012. The department has grown in number, stature and impact. We truly have now set a high bar in education, research, and mentorship for the fields of Pharmacology and Toxicology and beyond on a national and international scale. The department has consistently carried out teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students using modern technology. We have separate pharmacology and toxicology laboratory space well-equipped for research and practical classes.
Our Mission
Provide quality education to future generations of researchers, veterinary clinical pharmacologists and toxicologists. Undertake impactful research discoveries that influence the health and well-being of our patients. Continue to blase the trails as role models for our students and colleagues.
