SCHOOL OF MATRICULATION STUDIES IN BRIEF
As a school of remedial and pre-degree studies of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, the school shall promote and disseminate knowledge in all the Science subjects, viz Biology, Chemistry and Physics in addition to English Language and Mathematics. Such that the students will be equipped with both the theory and practical knowledge of the basic Science subjects in preparation for admission into degree programmes of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
Our Mission
The mission of the school of matriculation studies is to provide avenue for training students for remedial and pre-degree studies. It serves as a hub that provides intensive preparatory training of prospective candidates for admission into various degree programmes of the University.
Our Vision
Our vision is to produce well educated, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve higher degrees by successfully passing all kinds of nationally conducted examinations by IJMB, NABTEB and NECO.
