Dr. Jibril Abubakar


Brief Biography

Abubakar Jibril is from Kebbi State, Nigeria. He had his early education at Model Primary School, Birnin Yauri from 1990 – 1995 and secondary education at Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri from 1996 - 2001. Mr. Jibril obtained a B.Sc. Degree in Sociology with Second Class Upper Division in 2005 and M.Sc. Degree in Sociology at Bayero University, Kano in 2014. Mr. Jibril is currently at advanced level of his PhD study in Sociology with specialization in Demography at Bayero University, Kano. Abubakar Jibril joined the services of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto as a Graduate Assistant at the Department of Sociology in 2008 and is currently a Leturer I. Mr. Jibril’s areas of academic interest include Peace and Conflict Studies; Industrial Sociology; Social Policy; and Reproductive Health Issues. Mr. Jibril has published in numerous reputable journals, both national and international.
