Brief Biography

Professor AishaMadawaki Isah MFR was born in 1961, she is an indigene of Sokoto South local government, Sokoto State, Nigeria. she attended Sarkin Kudu Primary School Gusau Government Secondary School Kotorkoshi. College of Education Sokoto. University of Sokoto. Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Bayero University Kano and Birmingham University, UK. SHe has a PhD. in Educational Psychology. She started her career at the College of Education Sokoto and later moved to the School of Business Studies Ningi in Bauchi State. Later, Joined Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. She has teaching and research experience of thirty years.She has close to thirty local and international publications, including textbooks. She served in various administrative positions both within and outside the university, like ....the faculty examination officer, representative of University Congregation University guest inn, Faculty's representative at the University Senate. Coodinator B.Ed part-time Program, Chairperson University Management Committee, Research and publication Committee and HOD Educational Foundations. At the state level, she was Honourable Commissioner and member of the State executive council three times heading four different Ministries. Also, one time, Chairperson Sokoto State Teachers Service Board supervised over sixty (60) Secondary Schools. Aisha was also engaged at the national level where she served 1st as a Member of Presidential Technical Comittee on Housing and Urban Development 2nd As a member of the Presidential Technical Board of Federal Mortgage Bank . 3. member of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission. Her interest includes, and not limited to, community participation in the management of education,cognitive development of children , girl child education, child upbringing, drug abuse, and academic performance. Aisha received the British Chevenning Scholarship from the British Council to proceed to Birmingham University, UK. She was Opportuned to visit many countries they include United Kingdom, United States of America, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Niger, South Africa, India, China, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Singapore Egypt etc on Public Private Partnership Trainings. Workshops and Business She served as a member of the National Colleges of Education Commission Accreditation Teams. As a researcher, she has many published articles and three textbooks , many research efforts, and out puts. She received many Awards British Chevenning Award by the Birtish Council Mother of the Millennium by ANUUSA, UDUS Member of IICA by the IICA Africa Future Leaders Award by the British Council The Development in Nig. Merit Award by PS &R Magazine Exemplary Leardership Control Service to Humanity by IICA The Woman of Merit Gold Award by PSR NUAA's Award of Excellence by UDUS Collegiate Jaycees Woman of Excellence Award by NCWS Merit Award by Mathematical Association of Nigeria And to crown it all Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR). Attended many states, national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. She was a member of 2014 National Conference. Prof. Aisha Madawaki Isah MFR is blessed with six children and thirteen grandchildren.
