ID Card

Identification card is an essential component of institutions and workplace safety, and it’s nearly impossible to walk into an Institution and workplace without one. Institutions equip Staff and Students with Identity cards for identification, tracking purposes and other security plans. Identity cards are issued to all staff and students of the University.

In Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto identity card and all matters related to it is domiciled at the Students Affairs but in conjunction with the office of the Chief Security Officer of the University. However, the Dean of Students is the custodian and is responsible for the issuance of identity card to both staff and students in the University as at when due.  In addition, the Students Affairs Division work hand in hand with the Management Information System of the University for the provision of all necessary data for identification card. beside security features, the identity card has also the following features:

A) STAFF IDENTITY CARD

1. Staff names
2. SP/JP/JPP/SPP numbers
3. Department
4. Designation and
5. Signature

B) STUDENTS IDENTITY CARD

1. Students’ name
2. Admission number
3. Faculty
4. Course
5. Expiry Date
6. Phone Number
